Work With Me

My Story

In 2023, I began working as a Project Coordinator, and it was in this role that I found my calling. Planning, coordinating, and bringing ideas to life gave me a sense of purpose and excitement I hadn’t experienced before. This led me to pursue a MSc in Project Management at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business.

I am deeply passionate about poetry and activism. Over the years, I have had my art published in numerous literary journals. Writing has been a constant in my life, shaping the way I think, communicate, and express myself.

My story is a blend of creativity, strategy, and curiosity. This combination pushes me to always work as hard as I can.

If you are in need of a Project Coordinator for your next event, want to know more about me, or are simply curious about my poetry and other pursuits,

You’re in the right place!

MSc - Project Management

After my undergraduate degree I knew I wanted to do a Masters, considering I loved being a Project Coordinator so much, a management degree made sense for me.

Pursing a Masters in Project Management at UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business has significantly strengthened my teamwork and leadership skills. Through this course, I have been encouraged to reflect on who I am and what I value. I have learned things about myself I never knew! For example, completing a personality assessment revealed that I identify as an INFJ, which helped me better understand my motivations, communication style and approach to work.

I have completed strategic case studies on a range of different businesses, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and understanding of real-world project and business challenges. I am also learning about different project management methodologies I can bring directly to the next event I run.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Technological University Dublin where I studied Clinical Measurement Science. This course involved studying the physiological activity in the human body to provide diagnostic information.

I majored in Neurophysiology as I was always interested in the brain and wanted to research exactly how certain areas of the brain contributed to the development of different neuropathies. I focused my thesis on looking into how different check sizes affect the latency and amplitude of visual evoked potentials. These potentials are what determine if someone has optic nerve dysfunction so I found this area of study extremely important. I completed my research in St Vincents University Hospital.

During my time in college I also served as class representative. This involved me communicating with lecturers on behalf of my classmates to ensure we felt our opinions were heard.

Passion For Words

Passion For Words *

Above anything else, I am a poet. My love for poetry began when I was 15 during a trip to Nigeria. One morning, I walked to the beach alone, sat beneath a palm tree with a pen and paper, and started writing.

I haven’t stopped since.

When I was 17, Ireland shutdown and during this time I decided to release a collection of my work entitled ‘Just Friends’.

I self-published to maintain full creative control. I had many poems I wanted to include but decided to narrow it down to 17 as an homage to my age when I wrote it.

I also created a digital version of the book, which I have linked below.

It is my greatest work and I would love for you to read it!

So maybe my poems are too long, or too short, or too boring… Does that mean they aren’t art anymore?
Are they not good?
Are they even poetry?
— Ode to My Long Poem

It All Started With An Idea

Becoming a published poet all started with a simple idea. I knew my art was good and I wanted people to hear my voice. Thankfully, PB, an Irish literary journal agreed.

I had only written 2 poems at this point and ‘A Conversations With the Stars’ was very raw and vulnerable, putting it into the world felt so scary but I knew it would be worth it.

And it was.

No Justice, No Peace

Another passion of mine is social justice. Growing up black in Dublin came with challenges. I am passionate about educating the people around me on how racism is still very much alive in Ireland.

Above is a video I filmed and edited after attending a Black Lives Matter protest in Dublin. These are the beautiful signs I spotted throughout the day.

I run a social medial page dedicated to informing others about the inequalities People of Colour still face to this day in Ireland.
